Which resorts made my list for the 3 Coolest Pools in the Caribbean? Read on!
The Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa
Not only is this one of the best hotels in Grand Cayman but The Westin has spent several million on this pool and a new pool deck. The pool is a centerpiece at The Westin during the day and at night. During the day you are steps away from the powdery white sand beach and clear waters of the Caribbean. You can grab a drink from the pool’s main bar which also has a swim-up bar. At night the pool is lit up bringing a “sexy” look to the remodel.
Sandals LaSource Grenada
There are several pools at Sandals LaSource Grenada, but the main pool in the Italian Village is considered the best overall pool. This pool is set on the beach overlooking the Caribbean Sea. Sandals Resorts is an all-inclusive hotel property. Pool-side bar service, use of the curtained cabanas and the built-for-two romantic swings are included. At night the pool’s main feature, the fire pit, comes alive offering a nice area to sit and enjoy the sounds of the ocean.
A stay in St. Lucia has never been more luxurious than at Jade Mountain. Every room has its own infinity pool beginning at the bed, stretching to the living room and extending out on a ledge giving the best views of the Caribbean. While lounging in your pool you can view the magnificent Piton Mountains and the ocean. Jade Mountain is a quiet retreat that is perfect for guests wanting privacy and luxury.
Runner-up: W Punta de Mita (featured photo) – This hotel has a great pool overlooking the ocean. The pool deck has several covered cabanas and loungers with parasols. Near the pool is a walk-up beach bar that is an old truck renovated into a bar. W Punta de Mita is highlighted in a recent article: W Punta de Mita hotel near Puerto Vallarta
