Sandals Resorts Updates in Montego Bay, Jamaica

Sandals Montego Bay

Last week I was in Montego Bay, Jamaica, for 5 nights checking out the new updates at Sandals Royal Caribbean and Sandals Montego Bay.  I hadn’t been to these properties in almost 2 years and WOW, what a lot of changes!

First, the room updates are looking amazing:

Not only at Sandals Royal Caribbean, but also at Sandals Montego Bay, the room updates have all the new looks of Sandals Grenada.  Very contemporary and fresh.  I love the new feel and I am a BIG fan of the new bathrooms!  Double showers plus a waterfall are available in the Romeo and Juliet rooms as well as a soaking tub in the bathroom and a soaking tub on the balcony overlooking the Caribbean sea.  Built for 2 of course 🙂

For years, there have been talks about building over-water bungalows.  Finally, they are happening!  The day I was at Sandals Royal Caribbean there was a barge and crane on-site.  There will be 5 total and all will be butler elite level.  The bungalows will be connected to the private island away from the rest of the resort.  They are available right now for booking!  Exclusive?…very!

Sandals is always coming up with little extra things around their properties.  Whether it is swings (as pictured), or over-water hammocks (both at Sandals Royal Caribbean and Sandals Montego Bay), or over-water cabanas, there are plenty of places to escape to with your significant other. Sandals is built for romance and their properties really show that.

Sandals Montego Bay is getting a major facelift right now and will continue for the next couple years.  New restaurants are coming as well as new projects for group accommodations.  Being able to spend 1 full day at each of the Sandals properties was refreshing and the new updates are very exciting!  Contact me here with questions about Sandals properties, and not only in Jamaica, but across the Caribbean!
